Dana Mattern

Dana Mattern joined 84 Lumber Company in 2005 as an Operations Manager assisting a specific set of store’s and managers with daily operations.

She quickly was promoted to Project Manager assisting the executive office in a variety of business development initiatives helping to shape the company’s growth. Following this assignment Dana moved into an Analyst position responsible for assessing a variety of issues or initiatives and their potential impacts on the company.

In 2008 she was promoted to Government Sales Contract manager in the newly created Government Sales division of 84 Lumber. She was responsible for extensive research and certification applications to allow 84 Lumber to become active in this sales arena.

As this department continues to grow representing an increasing percentage of sales, Dana was promoted to Manager of the department; recognizing her tireless efforts and expertise in the government sales and contract areas.

Dana also represents 84 Lumber Company with many organizations including WCOE (Women Construction Owner and Executive) and WPMSDC (Western Pennsylvania Minority Supplier Development Council.)

A 1997 graduate of Kent State University, with a BA in Communications Dana’s leadership was evident as she was active during her college and high school years as a Student Government Representative and as a member of the Ohio Association of Student Council Executive Board.  

In her leisure time Dana enjoys reading and outdoor activities with her husband and daughter.
