This month WCOE joined the ranks of 51 leading education, advocacy and service organizations that represent over eight million members as a Coalition Member in support of the National Women’s History Museum. The NWHM Mission Statement states The National Women’s History Museum educates, inspires, empowers and shapes the future by integrating women’s distinctive history into the culture and history of the United States, a goal that WCOE totally supports. We look forward to a productive partnership as this amazing project moves forward. Last March WCOE supported the efforts of NWHM as the sponsoring bill moved through Congress and WCOE members in all sections of the construction area stand ready to roll up their selves and get involved....not only do we want to be involved in preserving the history but we look forward to aiding in gaining the support and providing the labor. So much credit goes to Joan Bradley Wages and her organization for their tireless efforts, WCOE is so very proud of you and delighted to be working with you as a Coalition Member.
